Always on hand, they will be ensuring your kart is setup to optimal performance in accordance with the track, weather and driving style. Our state-of-the-art training centre is equipped with the correct computer systems and software, including integrated UniGo GPS systems and GoPro cameras that are seamlessly linked together, to the kart and the track. These innovations allow for precise measurement and in-depth analysis of each driver and their kart’s performance every session. R1 have setup this system to allow for each driver and parent/mechanic to have a 1 to 1 analysation session with one of our trainers in the bus to ensure you as a driver and your mechanic have a focus every time you hit the track that’ll ensure constant strive for improvement.

Affordable and Transparent Pricing: Experience top-level race support without breaking the bank. We have created a system to provide a flawless service for our clients, however ensuring to keep the costs to a minimum, much like the consensus followed by Rookie Racing Training Academy.

Seamless Racing Experience: From equipment to logistics, we handle the details – just show up, race, and we’ll take care of the rest! We offer optional transportation of our driver’s karts to and from the track, including preparation beforehand of a deep clean of the kart and the swapping of parts as they wear down. Preparation is essential to results, heavily reducing any risk of mechanical failure and ensuring the kart is always at optimal performance level, leaving focus on the day to be improving the driver’s skillset.

 Upgraded Karts and Equipment: Our fleet includes regularly upgraded, high-performance karts. We have access to the best of all new and used chassis from all the country’s top providers to ensure our drivers are given the best equipment possible. We are also in partnership with some of Europe’s best engine builders so that when our drivers are ready we can offer hire or buy packages of their elite level power packages.

Community and Inclusivity: R1 Racing truly stands by its slogan ‘We Race as One’. We believe for a race team to be successful; all drivers and mechanics must work in unison. For example, on practice days, each kart will be trying small setup changes, each of them being analysed through data and feedback to decide on optimal settings for the whole team on race days. We will also work with drivers on their social media presence as a team of drivers with good social media reach can leverage towards potential sponsors a lot more appealingly compared to a lone one.

Progressive Pathways: As you improve, we offer seamless transitions to more advanced karts, fostering growth and advancement. The track events that we base at mean we have an even spread of each level of UK karting from grassroots to national level. We start drivers at our grassroots clubs and progress them and their karts through these ranks with an end goal of each driver racing competitively at a national level.

Events and Competitions: From weekend races to championship events. We want to keep the fun and affordability in professional racing development for families without compromising on priceless services. This is why we’re choosing to keep to club racing as each of the clubs we base at accommodate for those wanting to race at either a grassroots or national level of karting and mastering driving at these will prepare any driver for a prospective campaign towards the upper echelons of motorsport without the extortionate costs of travelling championships.
